DESCRIPTION:Did you know that this year marks the 50th anniversary of Witney Vikings Youth Football Club? \nTo celebrate\, we’re inviting you to join us from 10am–3pm on Saturday 12th July at Witney and District Museum for a free\, family-friendly drop-in event! \nCome and get creative as we mark 50 years of local football history with a fun day of hands-on activities. You can: \n\nDesign your own club badge – What would your dream team look like?\nMake your own junk modelled football trophy – Celebrate your favourite player\, team spirit\, or best goal!\nShare your memories – Were you a Viking? A proud parent? Come and tell us your story! We’d love to record your memories as part of our oral history project.\nAdd your voice to the future – Contribute something special to our Witney Vikings Time Capsule\, which will be sealed and opened in another 50 years.\n\nNo experience needed and all materials are provided. Children and young people under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. \nThis is a relaxed\, drop-in workshop – come by any time between 10am and 3pm. \nEntry to the museum is free.
